The BMI is not just for the kids. Bring your group to discover Baltimore’s firsts! All tours engage participants in discussions and demonstrations of working museum artifacts.

In addition to the general museum tour and the individual iPod Tours, we offer the following one-hour specialized tours:

History Alive Tour Experience Baltimore’s industrial past ! Tours can include a belt-driven machine shop, a blacksmith’s shop, an oyster cannery, a print shop, a garment loft and a pharmacy.

Trip Down Memory Lane Relive Baltimore’s past. “I remember that!” is what you will be saying over and over again. Tour may include the following galleries: Communications/Bendix, BGE Home Store, Print, Transportation and Cannery.
