Our Current Exhibit -- The Maryland Lottery: 40 Years/40 Stories
Our newest exhibit showcases the Lottery’s important economic and social role in Maryland.
Spanning four decades, these artifacts and items will include images of early winners, contests and drawings, print and television ads, campaigns and slogans. Promotional materials and items from past to present will also be on display, along with an old drawing machine, prize wheel, giveaway items and an array of scratch-offs and games.
Visitors to the museum will learn many surprising and interesting facts about the Lottery’s history--from the controversial legislative process that took place to establish the Lottery more than 40 years ago to the complex processes that must occur daily behind the scenes of drawings today.
