Support the BMI

The Baltimore Museum of Industry depends upon the generous support of the community to provide award-winning school programs to over 70,000 students, teachers and chaperones from throughout the state of Maryland; to sustain our vast archival and artifacts collection; and to open the museum to the public on a daily basis.

This support comes from a variety of sources in the Baltimore region and in many forms. BMI is the recipient of grants from the State of Maryland, the City of Baltimore and from Baltimore and Howard Counties. Some grants fund specific programs, but most underwrite general operations of the museum. Foundations have supported the BMI since our beginning and remain a vital source of funding. Many businesses and corporations in the region contribute to the BMI and continue to be one of our largest sources of funding. Individuals also support the BMI through membership and donations at a variety of levels
