April 24 @ 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm

The Baltimore Museum of Industry presents Labor + Innovation: Women In Food. Join us for an evening of taste and sound in partnership with Taste & Turntables by program Producer, Cheyanne Zadia.

Labor and Innovation April Flyer for Women in Food

Labor + Innovation is a quarterly series of candid conversations at the intersections of work and art. Featuring thoughtful discussions led by everyday workers, activists, and industry leaders, the series delves into the complexities of modern labor and explores innovative solutions for a more equitable future.

This special evening will explore the intersection of innovation and the culinary world, featuring influential women shaping the future of food. In addition to the panel discussion a collaboration with Taste & Turntables will provide a sensory experience like no other—where culinary creativity meets the power of music. The evening will include a discussion moderated by Aaron Henkin, a thoughtfully curated three-course tasting, and a DJ set designed to complement the flavors of each dish.

Our esteemed panelists for this culinary exploration are;

Irena Stein | Owner; Alma Cocina
Jasmine Norton | Executive Chef/Owner; Urban Oyster
Lane Harlan | Owner; Clavel, WC Harlan, Fadensonnen, The Coral Wig
Chef Demi Unique | Private Chef
